Security Questions

I forgot them & need to reset them! When I click edit or change security questions it keeps asking me to answer them, if I knew the answer I would not need to change them. I am locked out until they get changed?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

If you added the rescue email address then you will be able to reset your security questions. If not you can contact account security team via phone. account security team will be able to reset your security questions and may help you in adding the rescue email address. Importantly while calling Account Security Team, keep the Temporary Pin handy. To generate temporary pin, login to your Apple ID account and on the bottom of the page you will see the option to generate pin. Once the pin is generated, it remain valid for 30 minutes. Account Security Team will verify your account using the pin number.
