Battery stuck on 7%

I recently installed a new battery into my 2011 13" macbook pro. It was working great for about a month, but then started acting weird.

Now, when I unplug the computer after a full charge, the battery will drain MUCH faster than the estimated time remaining. It'll go from 100% to 7% in about 2-2.5 hrs with extremely light cpu usage (light web browsing, only 1 window), even though the estimated time remaining after a full charge reads around 5-6 hrs.

Once it hits 7%, it'll stay there for about an hour or so without changing at all...eventually after an abnormally long time the charge will continue dropping.

I've tried reseting the SMC and recalibrating the battery, but it continues to do the same thing...my system info is saying my battery is in normal health with full charge capacity...

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Hello jhkim90

Apologies if this comes over rather negative but although your machine was out of warranty, if it had not been opened up before, Apple could have changed your battery for you ... and inserted the correct item.

Unfortunately, now you have taken this course of action, they are most unlikely to want to touch it. I guess you have little option but to put up with the situation or take it to an unauthorised outlet for assessment.
