I have several movies downloaded from iTunes which I can view on both my iPod Classic as well as iTunes on my computer (it is updated to version 12.1.3). I recently got a new 7th Gen iPod Nano and have been trying to transfer the movies that I have on the iPod Classic onto the Nano. However, every time I try to sync the movies from iTunes onto the Nano, it says that the files are incompatible. How does this happen? If the movies were downloaded through iTunes, should they not be compatible with all devices? How can I get my movies onto my iPod Nano?
