You might want to clarify this:

What camera? Your own point and shoot? With an SD card? Does your Mac have a Card Reader? Have you a 3rd Party one?

Online? Usually means posted to an Internet Site - is that what you want?

Gallery? What do you mean by this?

I have a Rogers cell phone with a camera where I just touch the screen to take the picture.  I don't think it has an SD card, whatever that is??? No, although Ihave a MacBook Pro it doesn't appear to have a card reader.  "A 3rd party one" meaning a computer???? No.  The Gallery is my picture gallery in the cell phone which is what I want to transport to my computer.

You are going to have to be more specific. What camera are you wanting to "plug in". What pictures would you like to "view"? Please revise your question with more relevant details to help the community help you

Ok, very simple. Plug the phone into your Mac. Wait for Photos to launch. Photos will prompt you to import your media to your computer. If you would like to delete the media from your phone when the process is complete, tick the check box that says "delete after import". The end result will be that your phone has much more free space and the media will be in its permanent home on your Mac. Please reply if you need further assistance.

I have a Rogers cell phone

That's the name of the network you're signed up to. The brand of the hardware device is important. Samsung? Something else?

My iphone is a Motorola Android with built-in camera but I think I may have to connect to a Wi-Fi.  Sorry, Terence but your answer was too simplistic.  I KNOW I have to plug it in to my computer but nothing happened and that's my problem. No, I do not have an SD card.  I will be seeing Rogers tomorrow and also taking the computer in to Apple, since it's a MacBook Pro and we'll try and get this figured out.

    That wasn't my answer.

Many folks have this problem with Android Phones - as they store the files in non-standard locations. Google up an app called Kies. It has been known to help in these circumstances.
