restore data from iTune to i phone 6

Hi,

i upgrade my iPhone from 5s to 6s, before that i store all my data and applications in the iTune.

before restoring the data i made sure bith devices are with most updated SW version (iPhone 9.3.4 and iTune 12.4.3).

the problem is once i connect the iphone and ask in the itune to restore the data it show me it is starting the restore process in both devices and after 30 sec, i'm getting error that stop the restoring and also restart the iPhone.

any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Any error messages given by iTunes?

after connecting my 6s to the computer and opening the iTune the iTune recognizing y 6s, opening the 6s from the iTune (on pc) i can see the 6s data, i'm asking to restore the data (from Aug 1st), both SW iTune on pc and the 6s showing that they are speaking each other. the iTune on pc show it evaluate time to restoring and than start transferring the data, in parallel at the same time on the 6s i'm getting note "restoring". BUT than after 10 sec. the 6s is rebooting (apple). at the same time on pc i'm getting error message "iTune don't have possibility to restore as error happened" NO error code mentioned.

Something else i notice now, the restored back up on the new 6s is older backup version (2 years ago), it might be this influence and not allowing me to get to restore the updated backup from a week ago??

Yes, you can't use a newer iOS backup, if you restored our phone from a backup, created by an older iOS version. You'll have to update the phone to the new iOS version before, then use the backup that you took a week ago.
