Calories are counted under both Move and Workout during workout. Does it mean double counting?

Calories are counted under both Move and Workout during workout. Is calories burnt double counted in this case? How should I read the active calories if I have workout in the day?

Hi

No - calories are not double-counted.

The Activity app runs continuously in the background, including during Workouts and general daily wear. When recording a workout via the Workout app, the record of that workout provides a separate report of the active calories burned during that workout - whilst the same figure also forms part of the Activity app's stats for the day.
