cannot launch google.com

Hi,

The Safari on my Macbook Air just would not launch www.google.com, whether from 'Favourites' or manually typed in. It stalled while loading the page and finally showed as 'page not available'. I could easily access other sites secured or public just not Google.com. I started encountering this after I installed Flash update in July. I tried looking up at support but couldn't find any solution.

Has anyone encountered this? How can it be resolved?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), Safari 9.1.2

If this doesn’t help, please run EtreCheck and post the report here.

http://etresoft.com/etrecheck

Download it, open Downloads folder, click on it to open and select”Open” in the dialog to run it.

Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste it when you reply.
