Front microphone isn't working on iPhone 5s

i only got my phone in May and my iphone 5s front microphone isn't picking up my voice in the front camer or Siri but it works perfectly fine in snapchat so I don't find it necessary to bring it into the store for a repair. please someone help me this is getting irritating.
