How to download video from internet to iMac

It doesn't seem do-able. I have several tools to download videos but they don't work on the page. Also, the video doesn't seem to be cached to retrieve it that way.

I suppose you could contact the station and see if they would make you a copy.

Just a thought, you could in fact make a screen recording using QuickTime Player. Dragging the frame you want to see. You would have to fuss with it but it can be done.

edit: sorry, no audio that way. There are other screen recording programs that may work.

For what its worth, even though you have marked the problem as solved you can use a third party app such as Snagit to screen capture the video. You can size it to the exact size of the video then let it run to its end then save to where ever you want. I believe one of the other posters mentioned screen capture in QuickTime, I am not that familiar with it but I use Snagit continually. This copies both video and sound together.

I only try to give you an alternate method to achieve what you are trying to accomplish. No apologies are needed. I am not offended in the least and I am sure every one else on this forum feel the same. Sometimes you have to look for outside help(third-party apps). If the app is carried in the App Store then it should be reputable.
