Q: there are no apps showing in my apps library

Its been a few weeks since I logged into iTunes on my iMac.  It is version 12.4.3.1  When I went to check my apps to find out how many needed to be updated, there are no apps showing.  There is a message that states:

"Apps you download for your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch appear in your apps library."  Where is that?  If I switch to music, everything seems fine.  Same for TV shows and movies.  Just no apps.  Any ideas where they could be?

If I click on purchased apps, they all seem to be there.  Do they get deleted at some point?

"Apps you download for your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch appear in your apps library."  Where is that?

That's referring to the My Apps section of your iTunes library, similar to how you view the My Music section of your library.

We won't know if you, or somebody else who has used your computer, has deleted them from the My Apps section. Have you checked your Mac's drive to see if they are still on it, just not in your iTunes library ? By default your iTunes library is stored under ~/Music/iTunes

If you can't find them on your Mac (if you can you add them back to iTunes via File > Add To Library in iTunes) go back to the Purchased section (e.g Account > Purchased) and you can redownload them (those that are still in the store, not bought from a different country's store, and which you haven't hidden from the cloud : Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support) - or just add them back from your backup of your downloads/library via File > Add To Library
