We are going to need more information, since we cannot see your network or your devices.

What is the make and model number of your "modem"? We ask this because it is the modem.....not the AirPort Express....that is likely limiting the number of devices that can connect to the network.

What device are you using to set up and configure the Airport Express? If it is a Mac, what operating system is the Mac running? We ask this because we will need you to check some settings on the AirPort Express.

Thankyou for taking the time to help me with this problem.

let me explain first how I have the airport express setup. To begin i am borrowing my neighbours internet connection, which is a pretty good connection. I have two apple airport expresses, they are bridged together. One airport express is receiving the internet signal from next door and is bridged to a second apple express which broadcasts the signal in my home. Three wireless connections is all it allows me. i must reboot in order to hook up another device.

My MB Is running OSX 10.11.6/airport utility 6.3.6 (636.5)

airport express reciever running airport utility 7.6.4

airport express sender running airport utility 7.6.4

Set up the second AirPort Express as a router. That means changing the setting for Router Mode in AirPort Utility from "Off" (Bridge Mode) to DHCP and NAT.

That will produce what is known as a Double NAT notice, but Apple gives you the option to "ignore" the error/notice so the second AirPort will display a green light instead of an annoying blinking amber.

You may need to power off both Expresses at this point, then start up the first Express that joins the network, then start the second Express to establish a new connection.

You will now have up the 50 wireless connections available.....and.....your neighbor will no longer be able to "see" the devices on your network (except for the Express that is joining the network). Conversely, you will no longer be able to "see" the devices on your neighbor's network, so both of you will have better privacy and security.
