The power adapter that came with the phone will automatically adapt to the voltage from 100-240 AC. You will only need an adapter to plug into the wall outlet in China.

You may purchase a local adapter to be able to use the Apple power

adapter with regional current, generic ones are available; or you may

find some aspects of the 'Apple World Power Adapter Kit' best suited.

    • About Apple World Travel Adapter Kit - Apple Support

Some products have a regional designed power adapter, others use an

automatically variable power adapter; so certain products could best

use a specific adapter that converts local input power to correct specs.

Other times, since many Apple power adapters can automatically change

to suit the input (so output remains to spec for end-product attached) a

simple physical converter which supplies different prong connectors works.

An electronics store, or travel shop such as most cities have nearer airports

may also be a source of suitable adapters. Quality ones are recommended

especially to match your product; and to know your product requirements.

    Happy safe travels...

    Good luck!
