Functionally of iTunes?

It seems with every update that iTunes is getting less and less functional. if your not buying items from the iTunes store directly from your iPad or iPhone managing music on your iMac and syncing is near impossible. What happened to the list view and the general my music tab. It's very frustrating to have to try and relearn iTunes. They should roll back to iTunes 6 or 7 when managing and viewing your music was easy.

I Mac 24 and Mac Book, Mac OS X (10.5.5), 3.06 GHz Processor, 4GB 800 MHz Memory 1TB HD

Both functions are still in iTunes, but the interface did change, so Yes, one has to learn how to use the app.

Many of the basic features are still there, they just move them around. Perhaps it is an attempt ot keep the "new and different" hype going. Who knows? It doesn't affect me. I still use iTunes 7.5.
