Q: Itunes update problem

Prompted to update Itunes on my Iphone. Received message that some songs are not in my I Tunes library that are on my I phone. These songs would not survive the update. How do I compare the song list so that I can transfer the songs to my ITunes library. Syncing did not work.

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.3.3

Open iTunes, connect iPhone, click File>Transfer Purchases.

It will transfer any iTunes purchases that are not on the computer.

If you're trying to update the device on a different computer than that previously used to load content onto it then see also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
