Q: iTunes Match - random songs suddenly "waiting"

I've been using iTunes match for years now without issue. All of a sudden, maybe 10% of my music is suddenly greyed out and listed as "waiting." Any ideas how to fix this issue?

I've tried singing out, signing back in, updating my iCloud music library, etc. Over time, I've deleted virtually all of my music from my computer after successfully adding it to my iCloud music library to save HD space, so this is a big problem for me! HELP!

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Make sure OS X is up to date. Open System Preferences > App Store then click: Check Now

Very important to keep iTunes and OS X up to date.

Hi,
It would appear that those tracks are no longer in your icloud music library. I suggest that you delete the greyed out entries and readd them from your backup.

This has also happened to me just within the last week. Over 1500 songs now permanently "waiting". I didn't do anything to cause this problem. I'm pretty angry about it.
