Q: Macbook Air 2014 logic board issue

Hi Guys,

I have an early 2015 manufactured macbook air 13" . It was working great & suddenly wont start even when battery was fully charged. When plugged in no led light coming on. I read all the discussions & a lot of people are facing this issue. As my mac is not under warranty as I had it for year & half (bought it for Rs 62,000) & for repairs the apple authorised people are saying that I will have to change the logic board which is worth Rs 39,000 in India. Please help

Regards

We are all users like yourself. You are not speaking to Apple here. You will need to discuss your issues with an Apple retail store manager or reseller. We cannot be of any help to you. If the board has failed and the computer is out of warranty, then you are expected to pay for the repairs. This is no different than for any other warrantied product that is out of warranty. You were able to purchase and extended warranty any time during that first year. You chose not to. That was a wager you lost.
