Is 3500 RPM too fast for early 2015 MBP?

Hello, so I've been playing unescape through osBuddy on my early 2015 Macbook Pro and the notebook gets too hot to touch very quickly which is weird because i can run final cut pro and logic pro at the same time and it not get that hot!... anyways so because my fan wasnt kicking past like 1500 rpm to try and cool it down I've been using mac fan control to keep my fan at 3500 RPM while playing, i wanted to make sure that isn't too fast to damage m

Check your system with Apple Hardware Test if thermal censor is something wrong.

You are adding what I believe is an unnecessary complication. I have faith in the Apple engineers when they have set the fan speed parameters in the OSX for a given set of conditions. Fan speed control applications are not required.

I would normally say so too, but the fact that my notebook is getting to 95 degrees celsius worries me and my fan isnt working that hard to cool it

To alleviate your concerns, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and have the MBP evaluated. It will be done for FREE.

they can't because the only apple store in my area is under renovations and said they aren't looking in to any repairs at the time

also just had my fan replaced about two weeks ago by an apple certified second-hand repair place so it definitely should not be a fan issue

If the fans work as expected when running FCP, but don't when running osBuddy (whatever that may be), then it simply might a problem with the latter. Have you contacted the producer of that software?

i know its a problem w the software.. it uses java and java never runs well on a mac.. i just want to know the answer to my question: will running my fan at 3500 RPM for a few hours a day hurt my system in the long run?
