Q: My MacBook Pro is not Blessed by my iCloud Keychain - Any fix ?
Hello. Yesterday, in the thread called "Cannot re-connect my iMac to my iCloud account", I seeked to reconnect my iMac to my iCloud Keychain account, which I had brutally disconnected from it. I ended the thread when the iMac was, due to apparent magic, reconnected to my iCloud Keychain account and blessed.
"Blessed" means that when I hit on the iMac "Preferences > iCloud > Account details > Devices" and I select the iMac among all four devices shown, the information contained states, among others: "OS 10.11.6, this device is a trusted device and can receive validation codes of your Appple ID". "Un-blessed" means the contrary: "OS 10.11.1, this device cannot be used to receive validation codes of your Appple ID".
Today, my iMac is blessed but my MacBook Pro is Un-blessed in spite of the fact its OS is up-to-date (10.11.6, not 10.11.1). What can I do to fix that and make sure it is connected to my iCloud Keychain account and blessed ?
My main account still has admin privileges. I have had for a long time a separate specialized admin account.
Should I concentrate on the main account and try to fix it ?
Should I, similarly to what I did yesterday, delete the admin account, restart the MacBook Pro and recreate the admin account ?
Any other suggestion ? TIA for any help.
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), RAM: 4MB
