Q: Delete Folder
I have a Mac Mini Server running ML and this computer has two drives, System and Backup. In Backup drive, I have a folder called "torrents". Inside this folder, I want to delete a folder called "OS X". Inside the OS X folder, I copied a .DMG file to another location. Unfortunately, I can't delete the OS X folder because I get an error message. I get the error message "The operation cannot be complete..... error -8072".
I have tried the sudo rm -rf and the OS X folder still remains there.
I am not able to repair the permission on the Backup drive due to no OS on it. It is greyed out in Disk Utility.
I am not sure if I have to boot into Safe mode to see if I can delete this folder.
Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
