Q: Connected to Wi-fi but phone won't use it
I have an iphone 6--not sure if it's a plus or not. My phone has been great in picking up my home wifi and using it. However, although now it is showing it is connected, it acts as if it's not--pages timing out etc. Both my husband and daughter who have iphones are having no problems. I have cut off cellular data but when strong wifi signal, still nothing picks up.
I have restored my phone. I have "forgotten the device" and reconnected, to no avail. I have reset network settings. I have powered on and off both the phone and the router. I have bought a new router and still the same problem. New router shows up on my phone, accepts the new password and then does not use it. It depends solely on cellular data.
My phone recognizes wifi at my office, and other places. So what on earth can it be? Any help would be extremely wonderful.

the fact the other apple devices connect to this network without problems and your work network appears to be fine suggests there is a chance some layer of the network is causing a problem.
see this documentation from Apple on their recommendations on the network setup.

if problems persist you may wish to call Apple
