I can no longer open my external hard drive on my desktop
I can no longer access my external hard drive because it no longer shows up on my desktop.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
Check the settings in the General tab of the Finder’s preferences. If they’re correct, choose Utilities from the Finder’s Go menu, open the Disk Utility, and mount or repair it.
