iTunes Duplicating Song Files

I am in the process of transferring my music library from a PC to my Mac Mini. There are 13 random song files that iTunes duplicates at such a fast rate, new duplications appear as I'm trying to delete the duplicate files out of my library. I just deleted 50+ each of these duplicated song files, and now they are duplicating again before my eyes. The deleted files do not show up in the Trash folder. If I add an album that contains one of these duplicating files to a Playlist, the duplicated song shows up 50+ times in the Playlist.

My iOS and iTunes are the latest versions. I have tried several times logging out of iTunes, quitting iTunes, restarted the Mac Mini, and these same 13 song files continue to duplicate.

How do I get these files to stop duplicating?!

Thanks,

PRLJM

Greetings, prljm, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Migrating itself can be challenging from one PC to another PC and moving to a Mac can be challenging since those computers handle things differently. I'll do my best to help you keep those songs from duplicating though.
Here are the two articles on how to migrate from a PC to a Mac:
1. How to transfer data from a PC to a Mac -- From computer to computer
2. How to move your iTunes library to a new computer -- Moving just your iTunes Library

Have a great day!
