Q: BT Homehubs....AAARRRGGGHHHH
Exasperated is a word to describe how I feel...but heading for the Wolfblass CabSav, so should be mellow soon...
I think I have another post similar to this elsewhere in this forum, so bear with me...
I previously had a BT Homehub 1.0 (circa. 1960'ish...!)
This worked fairly well, but I was always a bit apprehensive of the default WEP security and the fact it was starting to age somewhat, so after a bit of begging I managed to blag a Homehub 3 out of BT about a month or so ago...
This has a default security of WPA2 and appeared to be a bit quicker with regards to internet access.
However, the downside is that both my own iPad 2 and that of my wife's no longer have "Location Services" active for weather apps, mapping etc...
My Mac, iPhone 5S and my wifes Windows Laptop both still function OK, and the iPads are fine elsewhere, at relatives homes or on wi-fi hotspots...
BT say it's an iPad problem...I disagree.
It's not a huge deal really, but it is a bitty annoying...!
Thoughts anyone...???
Should I go for a third party unit from Currys or similar...???
