Q: Apple ID Help

I changed my apple id but did not sign out of my iPhone and iPad first. My devices still recognize the old apple id which I thought would change when I changed my id in the first place. When I go in to forgot/appleid.com it says that my old id is not a valid id. Is there a way to make my devices forget the old id?

Try to follow the steps mentioned to remove the device from your old Apple ID:
Sign in to iCloud.com on your computer with your old Apple ID.
Go to Find My iPhone.
Select All Devices to open a list of devices linked to your account, then select the device to be removed.
Click Erase iPhone. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Select Next until the device is erased.
Click Remove from Account.
After you removed the device from your account, turn off the device and then turn it back on to begin the setup process.
