Aug 8, 2016 2:03 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby javierg131,I was using my phone and all of a sudden I lost control of the phone and whoever the hacker may have been started to change the settings on my phone. I'm worried because I have it paired up with my credit cards and information.

Aug 8, 2016 2:07 PM in response to javierg131by Lawrence Finch,If your phone is not jailbroken it has not been hacked. If it is jailbroken you have some very serious problems now.

Aug 8, 2016 2:12 PM in response to javierg131by Lawrence Finch,No, they could not have taken over your phone unless it was jailbroken. If your phone has a company email account on it your IT department can set some of the security parameters, but they cannot see what is on your phone. If you want to see if they have this capability go to Settings/General/Device Management and see if there is a company profile in that location. If Device Management does not exist they have not installed a security profile.

Aug 8, 2016 2:21 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby javierg131,My phone is not jail broken. I checked and there is no device management in the settings so it also can't be that. I'm not sure what else it could be. I was with someone and they also saw that I was hacked into. Don't know if it could be a glitch but the hacker also went into my reminders and wrote something. So that's why I'm very skeptical that it was just a glitch.

Aug 8, 2016 2:25 PM in response to javierg131by Lawrence Finch,It's most likely a failing digitizer.
It's also possible that someone hacked your iCloud account. Was what was written in notes meaningful?

Aug 8, 2016 2:49 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby javierg131,No it spelled out a name that had no significance to me. I changed my password and my phone has been working normal again so hopefully it won't happen again.

Aug 8, 2016 3:51 PM in response to javierg131by Lawrence Finch,Regarding your password, it is your iCloud password that should be changed, not your screen lock passcode. If it is your iCloud password that you changed then it is quite possible that someone hacked your iCloud account. You should make sure you have a strong passcode that anyone who knows you would not be able to guess. And you should enable 2 factor authentication on your iCloud account.
Do you share an iCloud account with anyone?
