hey guys, does anyone know why my final cut pro x or motion 5 app are not in the update section of the app store?

Final Cut Pro X, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), motion 5

What version are you using? Do you see the applications in the Purchased page of the App Store?

BE sure you are signed into your Apple account with the proper Apple ID. The ID you used to purchase the apps. TThey should be there.
