Sabrent USB 3.0 Sata/Ide hard drive adapter

I have a Fujitsu Hard drive out of an old Mac laptop model # MJA2250BH. I bought a Sabrent hard drive adapter and I am trying to retrieve the info and I am having no luck at all. The adapter is hooked up to a Mac Mini late 2012. I can't get my mini to even see the drive.

Does anyone have experience with this type of adapter?

Thanks

Danny

- Does the Sabrent hard drive adapter have it own power supply?

- Does it show in System Profiler under USB? You should see the chipset in the enclosure as well as the HD itself
