Encryption of Device account number
This article mentions that the Device Account number is stored in encrypted format within the Secure Element. How is it then passed on to the acquirer and then to the scheme before it is detokenised?

Thanks. In fact my question was in reference to this article. The article mentions that the DAN is encrypted and then stored in the SE of the phone. I was wondering how then is it passed on to the acquirers and then to the schemes? Since the token service provider needs to detokenise it, then need to know the actual DAN before passing it on to the issuer.
