Q: After enable icloud music library, my non iTunes purchased songs were gone from my iphone's playlists

After enable icloud music library, my non iTunes songs were gone from my iphone's playlists.

There were many songs I added to iTunes (imported, not purchased via iTunes store), then I synced these songs to my iPhone 5.

When I switch On the "icloud music library", I pressed "Merge", but it didn't merge my songs, it removed all my non-purchased songs, and left only songs I purchased in iTunes store.

All songs that I imported to iTunes application on my PC are no longer can be seen in my iphone.

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4

    Hey there JeromeF!

Welcome aboard to the Apple Support Communities! Congratulations on making that fantastic plunge over to Apple Music. You're absolutely going to love it. Let's spend a moment and make sure that we get your Apple Music, along with your original content, over to your iPhone 5. Remember to enable iCloud Music Library on both your iPhone and the iTunes application on your computer. It appears that your iPhone is currently running on iOS 8.4. Moving forward, let's start with a backup of your iPhone. We wouldn't want additional content to be lost in this process:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Finally, let's bring your iPhone's software up to date:

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

After your software is on iOS 9.3.4, give the Apple Music another shot. You completed the necessary setup process and we'll do that again to confirm that your original content is now pushing to your iPhone.

    Happy Listening!

    Hi,

Sorry I forgot to mention that I'm using latest IOS 9.3.4 on iPhone and latest iTunes application 12.4.3.1 on PC.

I also enabled the icloud music library on both iTunes properties and iphone setup--> Music.

tried it 5 times. each time I press merge many of my not purchased from itunes songs are gone.

When I disable the icloud music library and connect back iphone to the pc, and press on the iphone icon on the iTunes on the general page (summary) and mark again "Manually select music" then sync, all songs are back.

I don't mind working without icloud music library, the only problem is that I cannot have anyway to remember songs which I like because

    1) I cannot create any playlist of loved streamed songs (not from my library).

    2) If I mark a song with "love" icon, there is no way to show a list of all loved songs.

When I had a subscription to grooveshark in the past, the whole fun was to create a playlists of my own of songs I found on the way.

But it appears I cannot manually select which playlists to sync on my PC while syncing + have this really basic option just to create a playlist of links to songs I like (I don't really need to download the full sync, just give me a list so I won't need to write down on a paper every song that I liked while listening to the radio/streamed music.

    Anyone???

I still cannot save any Apple Music Playlist.

If I enable icloud Music on both PC + iPhone, I loose my personal tracks.

    Please suggest...
