Unexpected Invoice

HI,

I have received an email from this e-mail address IM83421@contacts.icloud.com with an invoice attached to it, claiming that i owe money.

The e-mail was sent to an e-mail address that I had previously used for an apple account but this was years ago.

Does anyone know if the e-mail address IM83421@contacts.icloud.com is a genuine apple e-mail address or is this a scam?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I suspect it's a scam, I certainly don't recognise the address.

do not click on any links in the email, read the following article for more help…

and forward the email to reportphishing@apple.com and delete it from your computer.
