Q: PDF workflow menu (folder destinations) overwrites existing files. How to fix it with Terminal or Automator?

Looking for a Terminal command or Automator action to change the overwrite file default for a specific folder.

For many years, I have been using the dropdown shortcut on the PDF button on print dialogs to quickly save PDFs to specific folders (see Printer Workflows How To info below) while skiping the save/name dialog. It saves a lot of time.

Previously, PDFs created with that shortcut were not overwritten. Instead, the finder would append a number to the PDF rather than overwrite the file.

When I migrated to Yosemite, this behavior had changed.

For example if there was already a file named "American Express Payment Confirmation.pdf" in the "receipts" folder, then next time, it would append a number, so that I would have two files, "American Express Payment Confirmation.pdf" and "American Express Payment Confirmation2.pdf".

Does anyone know of a Terminal command or Automator action to change the overwrite file default for specific folders? I need super simple instructions.

Thanks for your help.
