Q: Display port to VGA adapter makes monitor flicker 3 times almost overtime you click the web address bar.... latest gen mini

I have a 32" Dynex HD tv connected to my latest Generation mini mid model. using it with an adapter from Displayport to VGA, it flashes to a black screen 3 times almost overtime I go to click the web address bar or other random times... its annoying as crap! When I switch to the HDMI display option for my TV using HDMI directly connected, it doesn't flicker even ONCE, but the resolution is crappy.....

So do I switch to HDMI and deal with crappy resolution, or is there a driver fix for the flickering through VGA.. which, by the way, occasionally goes black, and won't come back up until you unplug the VGA from the adapter, then plug back in,its fine.... this is my first Apple computer, and while I love it, its driving me nuts!

Is there a better TV or monitor that 27" or more that this computer will recognize properly and give me the crisper pic?

    - Try the other Thunderbolt port

    - Try another cable

    - Try another VGA monitor to help determine if problem is monitor/cable/adopter and not the Mac

    - Is the mini displayport>VGA adopter a genuine Apple one? Try another mini displayport>VGA adopter.
