Q: AirDrop interference with AirPlay

Does anyone know if AirDrop can cause AirPlay to be flaky in peer-to-peer mode if both are enabled in the Command Center?

iPad Air, iOS 9.3.4

    Yes. Both use the same mechanism to transfer data. They establish a side channel on an unused WiFi channel, probably the same channel in both cases. Do you have an application that requires them both to work at the same time? You only need to enable AirDrop when actually transferring files.
