Q: iCloud lock help

i purchased an iPod on eBay that is iCloud locked i thought it was going to be easy to unlock but now I'm stuck with a locked iPod and i don't know who the owner is what can i do to fix this issue or which way can i contact the previous owner

iPod touch, iOS 9.3.4, iCloud locked

    If you cannot locate the former owner, and the seller on eBay cannot unlock the device, then return it for a refund. If the seller did not state the device was locked, then start a claim with eBay for the refund. You will never be able to activate the device without the previous owner removing it. You have a brick.
