Thinking of investing in a small projector for my mac book pro.
Help? why am I having trouble finding compatible, lower cost projectors, Canada preferred..but USA is okay too.
Epson? wireless? bluetooth? wired?

Wired is best and mode wired projectors or compatible you just need the proper adopter. If you Mac has a Thunderbolt port get get the proper mini displayport to VGA, HDMI, DVI adopter.
Bluetooth realy does not work since the BT bandwidth is too low.
I personally found Epson to be a great brand for Projectors. I know a lot of business people will mount their projectors and have an AppleTV plugged into it to allow for wireless mirroring from their phone/laptop. Let me add one thing to this. Any wireless setup with the AppleTV or any other gadget needs a strong/reliable Wifi signal. I'd recommend trying one in your home and return it during the 13 day return policy if it doesn't meet the reliability. If your setup will have your projector right next to the Macbook Pro, you don't need the AppleTV then. All you'd need is the adapter for DVI or VGA + cable. If its a relatively newer Macbook Pro, it has the HDMI port already in the side so then you wouldn't need an adapter! Bluetooth is kind of weak, unreliable signal for what you'd be doing to be honest.
