Q: How do I change my Apple ID from ****@saipem.com to ****@gmail.com

please i was using ****@saipem.com as my Apple ID and then changed to ****@gmail.com but each time I want to update or made a purchase. I will be directed to input password for ****@saipem.com  instead of ****@gmail.com.

Have you created a brand new Apple ID, or changed the name of your existing Apple ID (like this : Change your Apple ID - Apple Support)?

If you changed the name of your Apple ID, just follow those steps : What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support

Many thanks bakhtina, but unfortunately my problem was not resolved. Please see my questions again Below:

Am trying to update my whatssap messenger and I got a pop up asking me to sign in to iTunes Store by entering Apple ID password for ****@saipem.com which am no longer using. My current Apple ID is ****@gmail.com

Pls respond quickly with a solution

Those are two separate Apple IDs. You didn't change the name of your Apple ID, you created a new one.

Each purchase (free or not, app, music, video or any kind of content) made from the old Apple ID remains associated with the old Apple ID.

If you want to update an app which was originally downloaded from your old Apple ID, it's going to ask for the password to your old Apple ID. If you uninstall that app then reinstall it from your current Apple ID, you'll be able to update it.

Note : Uninstalling an app can lead to data loss, depending on the app. For example, if your app is a game on which you are at level 12, but your progress is not synced to any Internet account (like a Facebook account or an ingame account), your progress is saved in the app's files on your device. When you uninstall the app, your progress will be erased. You'll be back to level 1.

Don't post your email addresses on here (unless you want spam emails), these are user-to-user public forums - I've asked the hosts to remove them
