Q: The ability to delete apps is now GONE in 9.3.4

I have downloaded ios 9.3.4 and that was stupid.  I usually allow a week or two before I change.  I have downloaded and now my IPhone 6s Plus makes a thump sound and vibrates and does not active the delete function for removing purchased apps.

Also, three or four of the APPS including GOOGLE and CHROME will work for a moment and then shut off automatically.  Once that happens, cannot get back into the app.

HELP!

No such problems here. Do you have restrictions turned on that would prevent you from deleting apps? Do the apps wiggle and allow relocation when you press and hold as described?

I often download iOS updates within two hours of their release.  iOS 9.3.4 was no exception.  It's been working just fine for me.

Regarding deletion of apps, might you be trying to delete an app that is currently updating?

Regarding apps that stop working, might your storage be full?  Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be certain you have absolutely no less than 10% of the iPhone's total storage free.

The "thump" sound you refer to I think might be the 3D touch - I have tried to long-press a few times and invoked 3d Touch on the 6s. Try long-pressing on the app but dont put any more pressure on the screen. 3D touch is activated by pressure rather than contact. It can be quite annoying.

If that doesnt work have you tried to remove them by going into Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage under Storage and selecting the app and choosing Delete?? The apps that close themselves might need to be deleted and re-downloaded.

Let me know if that helps at all
