When will Map be able to be used for mapping clients locations by type?

I'm a rep and have lot of clients through out 7 states and around 15 major cities. i need to create a map for each state and each major city with more than one pin (color) to show the location of my clients, my providers and both present and future end-users.

When will map have this capability and if it does please show me the "how to" solution.

I would hope that I wound not have to go to a third-party solution as they are limited, expense and hard to learn. Guess i'm getting old <GRIN>
