Q: Where do I find somebody to write a 'simple' script
I know nothing about programming. I am not even sure that a 'script' is the thing I want.
Here is what I want to do:
Every year during tax time, I download all of my bank activity to a Pages or Excel spreadsheet. Next, I sort my data into columns for each category (for example, Computer Expenses or Mortgage.) Finally, I add up each column and get the tallies.
This takes a couple of days to accomplish. It seems to me that it could be done in a few seconds with a program that sorts the data into columns by recognizing appropriate keywords.
Is it possible to do this? Where could I find somebody to help me?
