Q: El Capitan on imac g5?

Hi,

i was wondering if i could run el capitan on a imac g5 if i would install a hard drive wich has el capitan on it ( it would be a internal hard drive that i would connect to my macbook and then install el capitan on ) oh and also Mavericks Would work too!

A G5 iMac has a PowerPC processor which is not capable of running El Capitan.

 

Are you sure that it is a G5 iMac? They were produced between 2004 and 2006. Please provide us with the model number of the iMac.
