Q: Siri reminders work on phone, fail on watch; watch calendar always out of date
I have 2 problems. Hoping someone has a solution.
1. If I had a dime for every time I raise my wrist, say "hey siri, add X to my shopping" list, and get back "sorry, I couldn't create your reminder".. I'd have quite a bit of money. In a split second, I can pick up my phone, say the same thing (and have it heard the same), and it works instantly. What's up?
2. My work uses Google calendar for everything. I have it set up on my phone with a fetch every 15 minutes (I hate that I can't do push or more frequent fetches.. but, oh well). Whenever I make changes to my calendar (gcal website), they show up on my phone within 15 minutes.. but hours later, my watch is still wrong. Even if I manually refresh my calendars in the phone's calendar app, the watch still won't update. Even restarting the watch doesn't fix it! Whyyyyyyyyyy??
Please help.. these problems make me hate my watch. They are two of my most common use cases.

Hi
The following steps may help:
- If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:
- On your iPhone, go to: Settings > General > Siri - disable, pause for a few moments and then re-enable Siri.
- For the best performance from your devices, keep both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permanently enabled on your iPhone.
- Restart both your iPhone and your watch:
- Close all open apps on your iPhone:
- Double-click the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview to close it.
- Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first;
- Close all open apps on your iPhone:
- Unpair and re-pair your watch:
- The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).
- Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support
- Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support
