Apple Notes not syncing with Gmail Notes

As Carolyn mentioned since you are using an Android phone it may be a one way street. Personally I don't know, I don't own a smartphone of any kind.

As I said above, I don't know since I don't own a smartphone. Someone here may know but sometimes it requires patience. You could check the Google help forums or the maker of your phone support or forums in the meantime.

deromero, I have exactly the same problem. Not syncing El Captain OS X notes with Gmail Notes. Ever before it has been working very well. Just 3-4 seconds and it's already synced. I was using iPhone but still syncing with Gmail notes (I just never liked iCloud). It had been working fine for 2 years unless I switched to an android phone 2 weeks ago. And then the troubles started.

I tried creating new google account but still I had the same problem.

It seems like the problem is in the Notes app on OS X. I hope they fix it soon or give a valid reply here. Meanwhile, I will be using other notes apps.

I am using El Capitan and have no problem syncing with Gmail among Apple devices.

Tha problem comes when I use GNotes in Android to create or edit the Notes than it will not be shown on Apple Devices.

I did manage to use iNotes on Android with no issues, except that iNotes is a very old program that is EOL and it sometimes mess up the notes when the notes contains "-", else it works ok. Therefore I use Android on another Gmail account so that it does not mess up with my other notes.

Hope my expereince is helpful but what App on Android do you use to create the notes?

Currently, I am thinking of upgrading Apple Notes in El Capitan and iPad IOS 9 but am concern that it will not sync via Gmail. Has anyone tested yet? Thanks.

Only Apple Notes sync via iCloud.

iCloud is not compatible with Gmail Notes nor an Android device.

If you are talking about MacOS Sierra it can't be discussed here.
