If you have an Apple battery installed, it comes with a 1 year warranty. If not, your problem should be taken up with those that installed the battery.
Among veteran ASC participants, to date only two third party batteries have been found to be reliable long term with MBPs, NuPower and Anker. Anything else should be treated with suspicion.
Battery run time is a function how the MBP is used and set up.
