iCloud storage upgrade confusion

I had a confusion regarding the iCloud storage upgrade.

I want to upgrade my iCloud storage but it is said that I need to pay every month. Does that mean my iCloud storage will keep increasing every month ?

Please help me out.

NO it won't increase each month, it's a subscription, its like a rent.
