Q: Bootable win7 USB for Bootcamp not working
Hi,
I have official windows 7 iso with product key, I installed it into my usb using Boot Camp Assistant. I tried using Windows 7 USB DDVD Download Tool, Daemon Tools Ultra, Terminal to create the usb, but Boot Camp Assistant seemed to worked the best in installing the iso to USB.
However, the usb is not bootable still, both usb sticks. They are different brands, ADATA and SanDisk.
When I go into Disk Utility info, the usb stick is labled Bootable: No.
WHen I plug the usb into Macbook, it reads properly and says WININSTALL on desktop.
However, it doesn't show up on Startup DIsk, or when I startup with option key, or holding the C key.
Seems the installation on the usb worked fine, just need to make it bootable. How can I do this? Please help. Thank you so much!!
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
