updated my iPhone(9.3.4), touch id is no longer functional.
i have recently updated my iphone 6 to ios 9.3.4 and no the touch id is no longer functional, i am unable to unlock my phone with my fingerprint.

I see that your iPhone's Touch ID feature isn't working since you updated the iOS software. I use Touch ID myself quite a lot, so I'm happy to help. Please try all of the steps in the following article under the "Get Help" heading:
