Q: Apple TV 4th Gen Audio output

I want to play music through surround sound in basement and also Echo speaker one floor up. I have them both set up but the menu will only allow me to select one or the other. Will there be a software update that will allow selection of multiple audio outputs. Ultimately this would give me a whole house stereo system.

I don't know if this approach works with Apple TV 4, but it is one possible workaround:
