Aug 11, 2016 8:14 AM in response to adonis786by ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulIt would help tremendously if you were to indicate the problem that you are encountering when you attempt to update your phone with iTunes. And, for future reference, the addition of the statement in all caps is not necessary, and is considered rude on the internet.

Aug 11, 2016 8:28 AM in response to adonis786by cyberbiker, wait 45 minutes to make sure it is not just updating. If that is not the case:
1) do a factory reset per the online instructions,
2) restore from iTunes backup
3) update to iOS 9.3.4, if it isn't already loaded.

Aug 11, 2016 2:49 PM in response to adonis786by ChrisJ4203,Just for the information, what is the exact error code it is showing? If you are just seeing the cable and connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. See the support document I linked above if you can't update or restore for help.

Aug 12, 2016 1:51 AM in response to adonis786by cyberbiker,★HelpfulAdonis, this will completely blank your phone to the factory default, then reload the latest iOS software and your last iTunes backup. Just do the following steps and then follow iTunes restore process.
1. Open iTunes on the computer, and connect the iPhone to the USB adapter.
2. Press and hold the "Home" and "Power" buttons on the iPhone for 10 seconds.
3. Let go of the "Power" button, and continue to hold the "Home" button for another five seconds. The screen should remain black. If the phone pops-up with a message saying "Plug into iTunes," the process should be repeated again from step 2.
4. Click "OK" on the pop-up window on the computer that indicates "iTunes Has Detected an iPhone in Recovery Mode" to start the iPhone restoration process. An iTunes restore will return the iPhone to the newest version of iOS available for the device.

Aug 12, 2016 6:23 AM in response to adonis786by ChrisJ4203,What happened when you tried his way? That is the method to put the device into DFU mode. If you could not get into DFU mode, then something seriously wrong with your device.
I've asked for the error code you received, and you have not answered. Has this device been jailbroken before? If you have not jailbroken the device and you cannot get it into DFU mode, then I suggest that you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have them examine the device and see if they can assist you.
