Classic Mac OSYes, Apple mail supports exchange, imap, and pop protocols. What difficulty are you experiencing with Apple Mail.

iPhoneMail on your iPad not going to look like Mail on your Mac. What features are you having a problem with on your iPad?What are you trying to do that you can't?

iPadOk, one can't have full Apple mail as it is on the Mac? the Mac version just looks like it can do more, view more at once.
I would like to open files with a special name to store mails under certain topics, viewing more mails at once etc.

iPhoneYes, you can make folders for mail storage on the iPad. No, you can't view more than one email message at once. I can't comment on "etc." You'll have to be more specific.
