I am trying to download or find iphoto for my macbook pro but cannot find it anywhere, please help?

Install it from your computer’s original disks or a retail iLife DVD. If you’re using 10.5.7, it needs to be an iLife 04 through 09 DVD.

I am very new to using this macbook, Ive had it for a few years but only really used it for the internet! I will try and find the original disk, it wont wipe anything off of my macbook (all my photos) will it?
What is an ilife DVD and where can I purchase this if the disk option fails? Thank you :-)
1. It won’t unless a problem occurs. Back your data up first.
2. Sources such as Amazon or eBay. If you upgrade it to Snow Leopard, you can also use iLife 11.

Ok, I have the original box but i cannot locate the install disk so option A is out of the window! :-(
So, I need to purchase an ilife disk and from this is can run iphoto, is that correct? Sorry, I really am not that computer literate so its back to basics for me I'm afraid. When you say download it to snow leopard, so you mean download the macbook to snow leopard?
I meant upgrade it to snow leopard, not download....
